Re-release of two classic albums by Don Walker the two Catfish albums, Unlimited Address and Ruby, were the first albums by Don Walker post the break-up of Cold Chisel They follow the re-release of his first solo album, We're All Gunna Die, in 09 Unlimited Address, originally released in 1989, reflected his years travelling after Cold Chisel wrapped up in 1983. The record is a weird amalgam of torch songs, Eastern European cabaret and funk, with titles like "One Night in Soviet Russia" and "Pre-war Blues". Ruby, originally released in 1991, shows the landscapes and spaces of Walker's later solo recordings beginning to form. From the Kings Cross of the title track to the outback tales of "Johnny's Gone" and "Charleville", this is Australia in the late eighties. Both albums have been partly remixed and completely remastered. The cover artwork and booklets have been redesigned from Tim Baur's original photo-reels. Two decades on these albums remain as durable and timeless masterpieces.
